Growing Freedom

(2nd draft) I keep reading about all this technology to grow food indoors. Special lighting, digitized nutrients, climate control, and all sorts of fancy, expensive, and energy draining stuff. I believe we can grow food in smarter ways without draining resources. Farming should be about sustainability, what do you give back to the Earth? You can’t just take and expect that cycle to go on forever, it will eventually blow up in our faces, welcome to year 2021.

Growing outdoors is always more beneficial to EVERYONE, not just the environment (if that is still not your thing; just die already). Let me be clear — growing indoors comes with the excessive consumption of energy. In California, estimates show that a single household uses up as much as 8% of energy growing marijuana. That is equivalent to using 200 pounds of coal to produce a pound of weed. Growing outdoors all you need is the sun, the air, and clean water to thrive. Can you believe people starve because they do not have access to clean water?! They don’t starve because they are not farmers, they starve, because they are prisoners, slaves of this world we have created. Planting and harvesting your own food is simple when you have clean water. They are taking it all, they will control us if we let them. Food is free, fresh water now, IS NOT. How crazy it is to say that “29% of the world does not have access to clean water.

When you grow naturally, outdoors, and in dirt, with real sunlight, real wind, and rain, and all the elements the plant and every living thing benefits from in this Earth, our mother, our Goddess. Men created God, we are the creators. Our world, is a direct reflection of our choices, actions, and every single breath we take. We are all part of the same organism, as your heart pumps blood through your veins, we pump life out of us, all around us. Some of us won’t, can’t notice. Those of us who are still living in our heads, stuck in the matrix, and the illusion of safety. No one is safe; and fear is the real enemy. It has always been FEAR. Everything holding us back from love, which is what we are, we are love, we are divine, we are not apart from it, we are it. This doesn’t mean there is no God, and magic or miracles don’t exist. This just means that we are more than ever now connected to the higher power, in every breath, in every action, and every moment of our lives. Religion isn’t something you practice on Sundays, or for 40 days after carnaval. It is who we are, and what we are. We need to go back to natural, to giving back, to noticing the trees, the birds, the earth. Walk barefoot, connect your roots to the source, feel the wind and the sunshine on your skin, don’t make excuses for the things that brings you joy. Take time, every day to fill your cup. This doesn’t mean go to yoga once a week. This means, everyday, get your exercise, talk to your plants, get creative with what sets your soul on fire. You know what that is, deep down you know, because when you do it, nothing else gives you greater feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment. Just keep going, everyday, do a little bit, every day. Just make sure it is EVERY DAY.

lack of. . .As messy as they come, they are perfect. Imagine growing your weed with 0 Carbon Footprint, while contributing to the ecosystem around you. Did you know that weed plants can absorb nuclear waste? SAY WHAT? WTF We should be planting this shit everywhere!!

If you want to save the planet, plant weed plants outdoors, everywhere, then reap the benefits. How crazy to think that a simple plant, that grows like a weed — literally, is being sold to fools for so much fucking money.

Everything is wrong, I live in the year 2020.
